GPOPS-II: OPTIMAL CONTROL SOFTWARE IN MATLAB

One of the key results of research conducted in the Vehicle Dynamics and Optimization is the state-of-the art open-source optimal control software GPOPS. Originally GPOPS was published as an algorithm article in the ACM Transactions on Mathematical Software (click here for link to manuscript). The software then evolved through hard work by the students in VDOL to include hp-adaptive pseudospectral methods. Recently, our research group has developed the next evolution of GPOPS into what is now known as GPOPS-II (the project code name for GPOPS-II was OptimalPrime).
