Accessibility Statement and Engineering Checklist

This replacement is being built toward WCAG 2.2 AA conformance as the engineering target for ADA-aware accessibility.

• Semantic landmarks: header, nav, main, sections, articles, asides, and footer.
• Skip link and keyboard-operable responsive navigation.
• Visible focus indicators with high-contrast styling.
• Text alternatives for meaningful images.
• Responsive layouts without viewport-scaled body text.
• High-contrast foreground and background color combinations.
• No autoplay, motion-dependent navigation, or accessibility overlay dependency.
• Future pass: automated audit with axe or equivalent, manual keyboard audit, and PDF accessibility review for linked documents.

Accessibility is an ongoing practice. New content, PDFs, images, and course materials should be checked before publication.
